Later this evening, I got really upset with the comments at one of my favorite liberal blogs. (see me: TexasLiberal) I discovered that I was being a bit of a pansy and got some perspective after a couple of Rita's. I'm all better now. Been up all night live streaming Channel 2 and commenting at Crooks and Liars. I made the mistake of posting the Click2Houston.com website link and since then, I have had a problem livestreaming. Hoot is on her way to my house as we speak. It looks like with this morning's forecast, we will be on the clean side of the storm (if there is such a thing).

I hope I'm making sense. I've got a good buzz going that I will cut myself off on Thursday night. I want a clear head for Friday.

Do you want to know how long it took me to post this? No...you don't...heehee

I will post more when I'm more coherent. All in all, we are going to be good here. I feel good staying here, and not because of the alchohol, but because my instincts say we are going to weather this storm well. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers and altars.

Oh, and I started smoking again. Taking donations for The Patch after the storm.
